Uncontrollable Crying
What would be the cause of uncontrollable crying, sometimes lasting all night, preceded by a pressure headache. It is
accompanied by a feeling of utter despair, dizziness, disorientation and hopelessness. I am numb for a day or two and then it is followed by a sense of well being. This pattern has been there since childhood, but more painful and intense in my 40's.
I am seeking counseling to determine whether I am BPD.
That sounds more like some sort of organic depressive cycle than a psycho-social disorder like BPD. I expect that it is being exacerbated by peri-menopausal hormonal changes that you may not even be aware of yet.
You may want to look into a regime of holistic supplements to balance out the hormonal fluctuations you may be experiencing. Evening Primrose Oil and Black Cohash are two of the more common suggestions. St. John's Wort may also be of help. As I see you are a Yoga practitioner, look into
