Problem 3 Year Old
My son is 3 years old and refuses to listen or take orders. He cannot be taken out in public because no matter where we go he acts up by knocking things down and laying on the floor kicking and screaming. around the house he distroys everything in his path. He constantly is breaking things (big and small) writing on the walls, or hitting people when they come to visit. We sit down and play games with him, read to him, and spend quality time togather as a family but nothing seems to help the problem. Is it just a stage or should I seek out some professional help to solve this problem?
You may want to get him tested for either a hearing problem or a cognitive processing issue. He is too young to have developed such profound behavioral issues without there being some organic antecedent.
