My name is Heather and I am a 25 year old female.

With my several diagnoses I have had to deal with a lot of ignorance within the so called educated community, so for the most part my whole purpose is to help those who may be going through the same things, especially the feelings of walking into one dead end after another, as well as maybe educating others about what it is like to be us. I am currently an undergraduate who is working towards a double doctorate in Psychology and Sociology. I want to be able to get just as educated as the experts so that when I try and make changes to the systems that they have no grounds to stand up and say I don't know what I am talking about because I don't have the years of education as they do. Also I am currently seeking an internship position so that I can continually go to school as well as proceed up the ladder of the professional community.
