My name is D. Creekmore and I am a 50+ year old Female. 

I am the mother of a 25 year old, my son Kris who was diagnosed with severe Borderline Personality Disorder. I am willing to exchange e-mail with anyone with knowledge of the disorder or someone with the disorder or family members. Age and sex is not an issue for me. I am from the US and speak only English. My son was diagnosed approximately 2 years ago with BPD while he was serving in the USMC. I received an honorable discharge after serving almost 2 years. My son is a cutter as well and has cut 2 times sending him to the ER for stitches and a third time, which didn't require stitches. He also drinks a lot and he burns himself with cigarettes. He now has a son and I am worried and not sure what to do. He refuses help and the one time he finally agreed to get help, the dr. I sent him to was very short with him and told him what we already knew and I had the dr call me at home to discuss the visit and he was just as short with me and very cold and rude.
