My name is Larry and I am a 44 year old Male. 

Diagnosed with bipolar II and BPD since 97. Stable mostly on
anticonvulsants, atypical antipsychotic, antihistamine and benzodiazepine.
Recently obtained new therapist and looking more at bpd rather than bipolar
at the present time--a new emphasis for me. Married 14 months- various
stressors--new town, on disability, Alzheimer mom, 3 deaths in family in
past year. Borderline family mucho -including wife -but she is more
unipolar than bipolar. I have good psychiatrist but she is a little
conservative but works with me and listens to me--has even told me that she
will let me call some of the shots. I think that is great. Both my wife
and I walk on eggshells around each other and when we are both really doing
it--we both don't do so well. We both disassociate--i primal scream when I
am tired and in a stressful interpersonal situation. She tears and clothes,
scratches and tried to go for the scissors once--I stopped her(I am not sure
if I should have--still working on that one.
