Hi my name is Debbie Lopez and as of tomorrow I will be 33yrs old
and I am a female who has suffered from both borderline personality
disorder, eating Disorder, depression and dissosociate disorder. The
struggle I went through was caused from many years of abuse both
sexually , physically, mentally and emotionally. I was affected by
fourteen years of major overdoses and cutting. I have been completely
clean of overdosing and cutting for three years from the healing of
God. I have been abandon time and time again in my life. I have had
people get scared of me because of my illness. I grew up in state
hospitals and was told many times I would never get where I am
today. My life is miracle from God above. Having many of these
disorders has put me through so much. I also had shock therapy on
two different occasions as a youngster.
The anorexia has been a harder struggle for me. I
have suffered for twenty five years but God is working on me and I
have a such a gift to work these girls and the girls with all the
above disorders as myself. I have been in many eating disorder
clinics and they never helped me because I was never ready. I know
as a borderline I needed to be ready. I feel the one thing that has
helped me the most is the love of God and Gods people who have
showed me love is safe and not to abandon. My dbt skills have helped
me a hole lot. Also working with the Christian psychologist I work
with has helped me so much. I feel Gods power has gotten me the furthest
and the unconditional love of my church. I feel I needed some to
understand and care about me and when I found that. I knew I could
grow.
I have been able to stay off of all medication
for three years completely and I am present a honor society student
at the community collage level who is majoring in Christian
psychology. I have had a calling to someday work with girls who have
eating disorders, depression, borderline personality (self injury),
dissociate disorder, and sexual abuse survivor. My home is going to
be Christian based funded by many of the surrounding churches, It
will be free of charge for six months to year. It is not there money
I want. I want them to see it is from the heart of God that I care
about them. Well this is little about me
I would also like to mention I also run a Christian base
website for girls with all these disorders which has been a miracle
we are like one big family. I love each of these girls and guys. My

I prefer to work with ages between the age of 8 to the age of 18
but any ages are great. My website is open to all ages of
group. I would like to work with all the above disorders as a
volunteers. I feel very confident in all these are's due to my
recovery.
