My name is Mike, I am a 32 yr. old Male. 

I am 32/m and have been in two consecutive relationships over the last seven years, each with women who were high-functioning, non-suicidal BPDs. The woman in my last relationship also suffered from chronic depression, unresolved grief, and was an Adult Child of an Alcoholic (ACoA). Throughout the two relationships I was acutely aware that something was wrong, but I blamed myself for it and was totally powerless to do anything about it. I did develop somewhat effective if rudimentary systems for coping, but it's only in hindsight that I've really learned a lot about these things. I currently feel a strong need to reach out to help others dealing with these
issues to provide validation or another perspective.
